Grin, Halftone

The tiger from Bamboo Grin reduced to a halftone screen in black and white: the whole face rebuilt from dots that swell in the shadows and shrink to pinpricks in the highlights. From a distance the grin comes straight back. Up close it is only a grid, and the eye keeps switching between the two.

It is the print version of the painting and the one closest to the street. The same screen is what the name is sprayed over on the wall you arrive at, so by the time you reach it here you have already walked through it once.
