Hatchling

A creature in a green dragon suit sits on a gold speckled ground, the hood's open mouth framing a dark face with narrow, unimpressed eyes. A blue ball lies in front of it and a sword has been set down to the right, just out of reach.

It is the funniest painting in the set and the most tender. The costume is scaled for something bigger and braver than what is inside it, and the two props, a toy and a weapon, leave the question of which one it will pick up.
