Blue Oni

A face fills the whole canvas, painted entirely in blues: a third eye set in the forehead, two lower eyes rimmed in acid green, a small nose, and a mouth full of fangs that carries on past the bottom edge. Two red slits at the sides are the only other colour.

Everything is drawn with the same rounded, glossy line, so the face reads as carved or cast rather than grown. Seen from a distance it is one shape. Up close it comes apart into ridges and folds, each one catching a slightly different blue.
